TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service explain the conditions that apply when you visit bridalmelody.com, contact BridalMelody or purchase our products and services. By using this website, submitting an order or making a payment, you agree to these Terms.

Please read these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Payment Methods, Shipping & Tax Policy and Return Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or place an order.

About BridalMelody

BridalMelody creates made-to-order and custom wedding gowns, bridal separates and accessories for brides around the world. Because each piece is developed individually, the design, quotation, production process and delivery schedule may vary from one order to another.

The information displayed on our website is provided for general guidance. The specific details agreed in your quotation, invoice, sketches, order confirmation and written correspondence form part of your individual order agreement.

Using Our Website

You may use this website only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the website or interfere with its security, operation or availability.

You must not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent, unlawful or harmful purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems or customer information
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit website content without permission
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code or other harmful material
  • Use automated tools to collect information from the website without our written permission
  • Impersonate another person or provide false or misleading information

We may restrict or suspend access to the website if we reasonably believe that these Terms have been violated.

Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under the legal age required in your country, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is complete, accurate and current.

Design Enquiries and Quotations

To begin a custom order, you may send us inspiration images, a Pinterest board, sketches or a written description of your ideas. We will review the information and may ask questions about the silhouette, structure, fabric, colour, embellishment, wedding date and other relevant details.

After understanding the general design, we may provide an estimated price range or a formal quotation. A quotation is based on the information available at that time and may change if the design, fabric, construction, measurements, embellishment or delivery requirements change.

Unless stated otherwise, a quotation does not reserve production time and does not create a confirmed order. Your order is confirmed only after we accept the order and receive the required payment.

Quotations are personal to the customer and may not be transferred to another person or used for a substantially different design.

Custom Design and Interpretation

Our role is to understand the elements you love and interpret them as an original BridalMelody gown. Inspiration images are used as references for style, proportion, construction and detail. They do not guarantee an exact reproduction of another designer’s work.

Differences may occur because of fabric availability, construction methods, body proportions, measurements and the handmade nature of the gown. We may recommend adjustments where we believe they will improve the structure, fit, balance or overall result.

Where a design is inspired by a third-party image, you confirm that you are providing the image for reference purposes. BridalMelody may decline a request that would infringe intellectual property rights or that we do not believe can be produced responsibly.

Order Confirmation

Before production begins, you may be asked to confirm relevant order details, which may include:

  • The agreed design and silhouette
  • Fabric, colour, lining and embellishment selections
  • Measurements and sizing information
  • Sketches or other visual references, where applicable
  • Wedding date and requested delivery schedule
  • Billing and shipping information
  • The final quotation and payment schedule

Please review all information carefully. Your written approval, signed order confirmation or payment may be treated as confirmation that the information supplied is correct.

If there is any difference between general information on the website and the details confirmed specifically for your order, the written details of your individual order will take priority.

Payments

The payment amount, payment schedule, currency and available payment methods will be stated in your quotation or invoice.

Production time is not reserved and work will not begin until the required payment has been received and cleared. You are responsible for any bank charges, currency-conversion costs or payment-provider fees disclosed before payment.

All payments must be made using the payment details provided by BridalMelody. Please contact us before making a payment if any information appears unclear or inconsistent.

For further information, please review our Payment Methods page.

Measurements and Fit

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate measurements according to our measurement instructions. We strongly recommend asking another person or an experienced local tailor to assist with measuring.

Our team may review submitted measurements and ask you to check any information that appears incomplete, unclear or unusual. This review is intended to identify possible inconsistencies, but it does not transfer responsibility for the accuracy of the measurements to BridalMelody.

A made-to-measure gown is created using the measurements supplied to us. It does not replace an in-person fitting and does not guarantee that no alterations will be required.

Body shape, posture, underwear, shoes, weight changes and personal fit preferences can affect how a gown fits. Customers should allow sufficient time and budget for final alterations with a qualified local tailor after receiving the gown.

For further guidance, please review our Custom Fit Guide.

Sketches and Design Approval

Sketches may be provided where they are included in the order or considered useful for the design. A sketch is a visual guide and is not a technical photograph or exact representation of the finished gown.

Fabric texture, construction, internal support, draping and handmade details may appear differently in the finished gown than in a two-dimensional sketch.

Please review sketches and written design details carefully before approving them. Requests for changes after approval may require a revised quotation, additional design fees and an extended production schedule.

Changes to an Order

Before production begins, we may be able to accommodate reasonable changes to the design, fabric, colour or measurements. Any requested change may affect the price and completion date.

Once materials have been ordered, patterns have been developed or production has begun, changes may be limited or unavailable. What appears to be a small design change can require new fabric, pattern work or reconstruction of part or all of the gown.

If a change is possible after production begins, we will explain any additional charge and revised timeline before proceeding. We will not make the requested change until you confirm it in writing.

We may decline a change if it would compromise the gown’s construction, quality, fit or agreed delivery schedule.

Production

Each BridalMelody gown is individually developed and made. Production may include fabric sourcing, pattern development, cutting, construction, handwork, embellishment and quality control.

Production times are estimates and begin only after all required information, approvals and payments have been received. Delays in providing measurements, approving sketches, confirming materials or making payments may delay the order.

Estimated production and delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing. Handmade work, material availability, seasonal demand, design changes and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the schedule.

We will contact you if we become aware of a significant change that may affect your order.

Handmade Variations

Our gowns and accessories are made individually using fabrics and handmade techniques. Small variations are a natural part of this process and are not necessarily defects.

These variations may include:

  • Slight differences in lace placement, embroidery, beading or appliqué
  • Minor differences in colour, texture or finish between fabric batches
  • Small variations in handmade flowers, covered buttons or other decorative details
  • Minor measurement tolerances resulting from fabric behaviour and handmade construction
  • Differences in colour caused by lighting, screens, photography or device settings

If exact colour or fabric appearance is particularly important, we recommend requesting samples before confirming the order. Samples may involve additional preparation time and cost.

Final Review

Where applicable, we may provide photographs or videos of the completed gown before dispatch. These materials are intended to show the overall result and allow you to raise any visible concerns before shipping.

Please review the photographs and communicate any concerns promptly. Approval of the final gown photographs confirms that you accept the visible design and overall appearance shown at that stage.

Photographs cannot fully demonstrate fit because the gown is not being worn by the customer. Final fit can be assessed only after the customer receives and tries on the gown.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs are generally confirmed when the completed package has been prepared and weighed. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, recipient name and telephone number.

Delivery times are estimates provided by the courier and may be affected by customs processing, local authorities, weather, seasonal demand, transport disruption or other circumstances outside our control.

Once an order has been dispatched, we may not be able to change the delivery address. Risk during delivery and responsibility for courier claims will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the selected shipping service.

For further information, please review our Shipping & Tax Policy.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Product and shipping prices do not include import duties, customs charges, VAT, sales tax or other destination-country fees unless expressly stated otherwise.

Any applicable import taxes, duties or customs-clearance charges are normally determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient. BridalMelody cannot calculate or guarantee these charges in advance.

Customers are responsible for checking relevant import requirements before placing an order.

Cancellations, Returns and Faults

Because our gowns and accessories are made to order or customised for an individual customer, cancellation and return rights may be limited, subject to applicable law.

Cancellation eligibility may depend on when the request is received and whether design work, material sourcing, pattern development or production has already begun.

If you believe that you have received an incorrect item or that your order contains a fault, please contact us promptly with clear photographs and a detailed description. We will review the information and explain the available next steps.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

For complete information, please review our Return Policy.

Customer Communication

You are responsible for providing an active email address and checking messages relating to your order. Important approvals, invoices, design confirmations and shipping information may be sent by email or through the communication method used for your order.

Please notify us promptly if your email address, telephone number, delivery address, wedding date or other relevant information changes.

We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information, unavailable contact details or a customer’s failure to respond within a reasonable period.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all website content and original BridalMelody materials—including text, images, videos, graphics, logos, sketches and original designs—belong to BridalMelody or are used with permission.

You may view and save website content for personal reference, but you may not reproduce, modify, publish, sell, license, distribute or commercially use it without prior written permission.

Purchasing a gown or design service does not transfer ownership of BridalMelody’s intellectual property, design methods, patterns, sketches or production techniques.

Customer Images and Content

You retain ownership of photographs and other original content that you provide to us. You confirm that you have the right to share this content for the purpose of discussing and completing your order.

Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, social media platforms and delivery companies.

We are not responsible for the independent content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites and services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Website Availability and Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate and available. However, we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, current or free from technical errors.

We may update, suspend or remove website content, products or services when reasonably necessary. We may also correct errors in descriptions, prices or availability before accepting an order.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BridalMelody will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer, unauthorised alterations made after delivery, improper care, normal wear, courier disruption or failure to follow our written guidance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. These may include natural disasters, severe weather, fire, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, government action, customs delays, transport disruption, labour disputes, power failure, internet interruption or material shortages.

If such an event affects your order, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you and minimise the impact.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.

The version published on this page applies from the time it is posted. Changes will not normally alter an order already confirmed unless required by law or agreed with you.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. The affected provision will be interpreted or adjusted only to the extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable where permitted by law.
